Investigator

Part-time investigator for the Des Moines County Attorney's Office. Prior law enforcement experience is preferred.

Duties include:

Locating witnesses;
Interviewing witnesses, including expert witnesses.
Search criminal history and other public records.
Service of subpoenas.
Assisting in preparation of diagrams, video recordings, photographs, or other exhibits required for prosecution of cases.
Participate in case evaluations regarding disposition of cases.
Conduct investigations or fact-finding projects as requested
Prepare reports of investigative activities
