Part-Time Transport Officer
The Transport Officer is responsible for carrying out duties as assigned. The position is an on call as needed basis with the possibility of days, night, weekends and holiday transports.
The Transport Officer is responsible to transporting inmates, to include juveniles, in both criminal and civil cases.
Requirements:
*Must be a United States Citizen or legally eligible for work in the United States.
*Must be at least 21 years of age.
*Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
*Must possess a high school diploma or equivilent GED.
*Must complete all training and probation period.
Application must be submitted to the Des Moines County Correctional Center.
